FREEHOLD Free trial

For people who read the privacy policy

Every clinic keeps a copy of your health record. Keep your own.

Freehold gathers your records from the hospitals and clinics that hold them into one encrypted history that answers to you: you choose who sees it, and it’s yours to delete.

The problem

Your history lives in other people’s systems.

Each hospital, clinic and lab you’ve visited keeps its own piece of your history, behind its own portal and login. You can ask each one for a copy, and the copies come back scattered, in different formats, at different times.

And before you hand any of it to an app, you’d want to know how that app makes its money.

How it works

Four steps to your own copy

  1. Start the trial

Sign up, choose who the profile is for, and start the 7-day free trial.

  2. Prove it’s you

Confirm your identity and address, choose who can see the profile, sign the consent forms and book an intake visit with a clinician.

  3. Gather it in one place

Triangle requests your records through the national networks, Carequality and TEFCA, with a clinician signing the request with you. Add anything else you hold: PDFs, photos of paper records, discs, faxes.

  4. Decide who gets a key

Share with a family member or a doctor, and choose who can see it and who can help manage it. Connect an AI assistant if you want one, and disconnect it at any time.

The fine print on price, up front. $9 a month after a 7-day free trial. The trial needs a card; cancel before day 7 and you’re not charged. Cancel any month after that, and your records stay yours to keep or delete.

Your own assistant

Give your assistant a key you can take back

If you use Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, you can let it read your record through Triangle’s connector. You decide what it may read and what it may change, and you can take the key back at any time.

  1. Copy the address

The same address works for every assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol).

  2. Add it as a connector

In your assistant’s settings, add a new custom connector with that address. The exact menus are below.

  3. Sign in to Triangle

Your assistant sends you to a Triangle sign-in. Claude asks the first time it uses a Triangle tool.

  4. Choose what it may touch

On Triangle’s consent screen, each kind of record has its own Read and Write switch. Choose those and which profile to share, then Accept.

Where to add it

Claude

  1. Settings
  2. Connectors
  3. Add custom connector
  4. Paste the address

A Triangle sign-in appears the first time Claude uses a Triangle tool.

ChatGPT

  1. Settings
  2. Apps & Connectors
  3. Advanced settings
  4. Turn on Developer Mode
  1. Back in Apps & Connectors
  2. Create, under Connectors
  3. Enter a name and the address

Needs ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. The free plan can’t add custom connectors.

Grok

  1. Skills and Connectors
  2. New Connector
  3. Custom
  4. Enter a name and the address

Then sign in to Triangle and accept. Needs a paid Grok plan.

Another assistant that supports MCP? Look in its settings for MCP, Connections or Tools, and add a new connection with the same address.

Things to ask once it’s connected

  • “Summarize my medical history for a new doctor.”
  • “Which of my lab results were out of range last year?”
  • “What’s on my medication list right now?”

Taking the key back

Disconnect any time in Triangle under Settings → AI service connections, and access stops immediately. To change what it can see, disconnect and connect again. Access may also lapse if it goes unused for about a month.

It only works with what’s inside Triangle. It can’t change anything at a hospital or clinic.

Where it goes after that

Once you connect an outside assistant, what it reads is handled under that assistant’s own privacy policy, which Triangle doesn’t control. Triangle keeps no log of what the assistant does with it afterwards. Connect only assistants you trust.

Every key starts with your own copy.

Questions

The fine print, in plain words

What does it cost?

Freehold starts with a 7-day free trial, then costs $9 a month. The trial needs a card. Cancel before day 7 and you’re not charged; after that, cancel any month, and your records stay yours.

Membership covers Triangle requesting your records from hospitals and clinics and keeping them updated as new records arrive, chat anytime with an assistant that answers from your own records, a review of your medical history by a licensed clinician, uploading anything else you hold, and connecting your wearables.

Do you sell my data? Can I delete it?

Your data is never sold or shared for advertising, and no drug maker, laboratory or hospital pays Triangle. Members do. Your records are yours to delete, including if you cancel.

Who can see my record?

You choose which people see it and which assistants can read it, and you can disconnect an assistant at any time. A clinician signs your records request with you, and members get a review of their medical history by a licensed clinician. If you connect an outside assistant, what it reads is then handled under that assistant’s own privacy policy. For how Triangle protects and handles data inside its own systems, see its Trust Center.

What does setup ask of me, and will it reach my hospitals?

You confirm your identity and address, choose who can see your profile, sign the consent forms and book an intake visit with a clinician. The identity check and your signed consent are what let Triangle request records in your name, through the national networks, Carequality and TEFCA, with a clinician signing the request with you. Not every provider can be reached that way, so you can upload the rest, and Freehold shows what may still be missing.

Does Freehold diagnose or prescribe?

No. Freehold helps you hold and understand your records. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it never replaces your care team.
